Hola,
soy Elizabeth – la Americana y proveedor de galletas en la oficina (gracias por
la introducción Laura). Os escribo en un día muy único – durante las
preparaciones de nuestra segunda día de la venta especial en la oficina.
Ayer
tuvimos que decorar la ofi un poco porque habían unas paredes vacías. Yo tuve
una idea genial (os admito que Laura tuvo una parte) y escribimos We Are
Knitters en la pared con la lana. Junto con las fotos, creo que ha quedado
guay. Pongo una foto pero debéis verlo en persona esta noche durante nuestro
evento – que la foto no hace justicia a nuestra obra maestra.
No
habíamos dado cuenta de la hora y al comienzo del evento tuvimos que irnos a
comprar bebidas y otras cosas. Suerte que estamos en España y nadie llega a la
hora (una broma para los extranjeros... lo siento a los Españoles). Lleguemos a
la ofi y dentro de unos minutos mis amigos vinieron para aprovechar los
descuentos. Nos alegrábamos que eran los primeros porque hicimos unos errores
la primera vez! No os preocupéis, todo estaba perfecto para la gente después.
Ofrecíamos
chucherías pero trabajo con dos adictos y tuvimos que esconderlas después de un
rato. Yo también estoy culpable pero tengo tanto pereza cruzar la ofi para unos
dulces. Y cuando digo que tengo pereza... quiero decir que estoy tan dedicada a
todo mi trabajo que no quiero levantarme.
En fin,
todo fue muy bien y ahora estoy emocionada para la venta esta noche. Quizás
Laura va a deciros más la semana que viene!

Hello, I am Elizabeth – the American and cookie provider in
the office (thanks for the introduction Laura). I am writing this post on a
very special day – during the preparation of the second day of our Venta
Especial.
Yesterday we had to decorate the office a bit because there
were a few empty white walls. I had a genius idea (though I admit Laura had a
part in this) and we wrote We Are Knitters on the wall with our wool yarn. With
the photos surrounding it, I think it came out quite nicely. I’ve put a photo
but you should see it in person and come to tonight’s event – the picture does
not do justice to our masterpiece.
We didn’t realize the time and had to go buy drinks and some
things at the beginning of the sale. Luckily we are in Spain and no one arrives
on time (a joke for the foreigners… sorry Spanish readers). We arrived at the
office just before a few friends came to take advantage of the good deals. We
were glad that they were our first customers because we made a few mistakes our
first time! Don’t worry, everything was perfect for everyone else.
We had laid out some sweets for visitors but I work with two
addicts and we had to hide them after awhile. I am also guilty but I am too
lazy to walk across the office just for some candy. And when I say that I am
lazy… I mean that I am too dedicated to all of my work to get up.
In the end, it was a great event and now I am really excited
for round two tonight. Maybe Laura will have more to say about it in her post
next week!
